The Gujarat Public Affairs Council of Canada (GPACC) unequivocally condemns the recent terrorist attack targeting innocent Hindu civilians in Kashmir, India. This brutal act of violence is not only an assault on the lives of peaceful citizens but also an affront to the values of humanity, coexistence, and religious freedom.
We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and express our solidarity with the people of Kashmir and the entire Indian nation during this time of grief and outrage. Such heinous acts must not be allowed to fracture the social and communal harmony that is the foundation of any civilized society.
GPACC calls upon the international community to stand united against terrorism in all its forms and to support efforts aimed at bringing the perpetrators of this cowardly attack to justice. We also urge governments, civil society organizations, and peace-loving citizens around the world to continue working together to eliminate hatred and violence, and to promote dialogue, understanding, and lasting peace.
